Leadership & Crew Wellbeing for Masters and Chief Engineers

Aims

• To develop leadership skills tailored for shipboard command roles.
• To enhance the Master’s and Chief Engineers’ ability to lead diverse, multicultural crews effectively.
• To strengthen decision-making under pressure while balancing safety, efficiency, and crew welfare.
• To promote awareness and practices that support mental health, resilience, and overall well-being on board.
• To align leadership approaches with international maritime standards, company policies, and human factors best practices.

Course Objectives

On completion of the course, participants will be able to:
